You can get attention by flirting. You don't have to cheat to get the attention. I understand how it can happen, but obviously you know it wasn't the right thing to do. Try to work on your relationship with your boyfriend and getting him to show you how much he wants you.
Hopefully the attention was worth it. In the long run things like this can haunt you. :(
